Museum of Farnham Exhibition

This hand-painted piece was chosen for the upcoming “Handmade in Farnham” exhibition at the Museum of Farnham – celebrating local makers and beautiful objects.

The cherry blossom vase was made with stoneware clay. Its decoration is inspired by a 1900s Japanese pattern. Red, blue, yellow, pink and green glazes were used.

The decoration alone took approx. 10 hours to complete.
